After starting his career in administrative and management roles in the UK, giving him grounding for the organisational and people skills needed for his role as a supervisor, Charlie made the leap into construction and never looked back. Motivated by a desire to constantly improve and test himself, Charlie is known for his hands-on approach and commitment to quality. He finds it most rewarding to see a job through from installation to a perfectly finished render.
A lifelong sportsman, Charlie brings the same competitive drive and determination to his work as he does on the field. Outside of work, he enjoys soaking up the Queensland sunshine on the beach—a novelty he still appreciates as a Brit abroad. His focus at Maaken is on maintaining strong communication, fostering teamwork, and staying ahead of industry trends to help the company remain a leader in AAC construction.
